How to win at Black Jack (21)

Black Jack (21) is the most popular casino game on the Earth. This game is played between a player and the dealer. The objective is to get 21 points before the dealer gets 21.  You may also win by attaining a final point tally under 21 but higher than dealer.  You may win if the dealer draws additional cards and exceeds 21.
Each card has its traditional value with Ace counted as 1 or 11. The player is dealt two cards each. If the two cards do not add to 21, the player may go for an additional card. If both the player and the dealer score more than 21 called “busting” then there would be toss. A player wins by not busting.
The basic strategy of Black jack 21 is playing a hand of a total value against the up-cards of the dealer so that you are not a loser in the long run.
Two 10s is a winning card. You need not have to split. You have 20 with the first two cards. There is the least probability that the dealer has 21. On the other hand, if you get a pair of 8 then this 16 is a bad situation in Black jack. Splitting may give you at least one wining hand. The best you can get is a 10,10. Thus you have 18 and 18. You have a good probability to reach breakeven that is neither gain nor loss.
You must not also split if you have a pair of 5. Even if you get a pair of 10, the result is only 15. It would be wise to double down. Get one more card. That way you have increased from 10 to where your fortune takes you. You may also double down if your two cards add to 9, 10 or 11 and the dealer has accordingly a lower value to match.
If you strike a soft hand which adds 13 to 15 then it should be hit. If the cards add up to 16 or 17 then you better double against a 2 through 6.
You will get wiser as the going goes.
